Requiem for a dream is ziek, maar een van de beste films die ik heb gezien.(ook echt vette filmstijlen en marlon wayans speelt er zo stoer in, terwijl ie eigenlijk altijd een grappig iemand moet spelen)
Trainspotting vond ik natuurlijk vet, en met een supervette soundtrack(underworld!)
Spun is cool, maar ik vind em iets te lauw, de hele film zit je er gewoon in en het einde is zooooooooo skraal
Acid House is geniaal! ook van Irvine Welsh als het goed is(schrijver van trainspotting), die lsd trip wordt echt goed neergezet!(hoewel ik het nog nooit gedaan heb hoor )
Halfbaked, de ultieme smokersfilm!!!, deze sh1t is zoo fokkin grappig.
friday, de eerste uit de serie, deze zie je echt bijna nooit maar ik vind het het enige goede deel. Niet echt uitbundig, maar gewoon grappig en herkenbaar!, strictly smokin though
Partymonster zo'n beetje iedereen die ik ken vind em kut, maar ik vond em echt wel cool. Je moet wel tegen homo-gedrag kunnen, waar daar draait deze film helemaal op(en op drugs natuurlijk), kvind et echt een vette sfeer die wordt neergezet, echt jaren 90 partydrug gevoel(hoewel ik nog te jong ben om dat te hebben meegemaakt, dit is alleen precies wat ik me erbij voorstel)
Kidsniet alleen drugs natuurlijk, het gaat over aids, maar komen wel aardig wat jointjes en wat andere dingetjes in voor. Van deze film werd ik gewoon misselijk! Echt geen relaxte film om alleen te kijken, niet dat er onwijs veel bloed in zit ofzo maar het zo onwijs realistisch neergezet(geen filmeffecten) en er zitten echt psycho's in.

I watched this movie because of a trailer I watched on HBO. Never heard of it before, but it seemed interesting.

Point is, I loved it to the point of even recording it and recommending it to my friends. I was in the rave scene during the mid 90's, when the likes of Scooter, Faithless, Robert Miles, Mark 'Oh and many others were at their peak.

I truly enjoyed this movie and felt I was there the whole night. This movie is definitely not meant for anyone, much less for those who still don't understand what indie films are about. This was certainly not Arakki or Aranofsky, but I have to commend director Greg Harrison for this piece of work.

This movie starts with the sound of a modem connecting to the internet... sooooo 1998! It was funny. Then you see all these fast stories about weirdos and their lives.

The plot was definitely secondary in this movie. I could not care less about Leyla, or Colin, or whoever... But I guess that wasn't exactly the point.

Although the party was somewhat different from what I used to go to, its structure was basically the same: Clandestine party, where you need maps and bribe a few guys to know exactly where you're going; the different levels of music throughout the night, from slow-beat clubhouse to orgasmic trance; the amount of drugs, the doped people, the escape from it all.

There were pointless scenes, like those gay guys trying to get to the party (there was already a gay moment between Colin and that masseuse guy.. poor Harmony!). I recognized Rachel True, the gorgeous girl from "The Craft", I had no idea she was on this.

I agree with the one who commented that John Digweed would never play in a party like this.. Actually I laughed when he made his cameo... So what was next? Tiesto? Johan Gielen? Paul Oakenfold?

This movie was also a reflect of how these parties were about 5-10 years ago. Yes, the electronic scene has become much more commercial, specially in Holland and Belgium. I guess that it's not so special to me anymore, now that virtually everyone has discovered it.

And yes, once the party got busted, there's no way they would have gotten away with starting it again!

When the party is over, the movie is over, leaving the viewer with the SAME FEELING most ravers had when leaving... "Now what?" After an amazing night of "everything", you have to realize that it's all over and life must goes on... at least for most of us.

Die film ziet er nog de moeite uit, in tegnestelling tot One Perfect Day moest dat een film zijn die die party's weergeeft zoals ze vroeger waren, was het zeker een 16+ film.. de manier hoe ze de drugs voorstellen is ronduit belachelijk imo, beginne trippen van speed bijvoorbeeld

en dus nog niet al hoor, veel van de muziek die je daar hoort is 100% mainstream (daarom niet allemaal slecht), maar dat weerspiegelt dus totaal de rave-scene niet
de feesten zelf waren nog goed gedaan dat geef ik toe

En dan belangrijkste, het verhaal:
dat trok op niets

ik heb die film een jaar geleden ongeveer gezien met toeval en ik kan je zeggen dat het zeker de moeite waard is.

Laatst kennis gemaakt met Cheech & Chong

wah die zijn oud maar erg leuk! vooral die van de corsican brothers en die waar ze in amsterdam zijn

Cheech en Chong, wel grappig maar wel een dikke E-budget film :P
Spun, hele vage film over meth, wel grappig, niet echt serieus bedoeld.
Party Monster, gaat over een stel homo's die verslaafd zijn aan ketamine, echt van die over-done homo's, moet je niet erg vinden want anders is die hele film geen hol aan.
Lock, Stock and two Smoking Barrels, hele goede film, gaat over verschillende dingen maar ook over illegale wiet handel, voornamelijk over misdaad. Leuk en erg goed verhaal.
Trainspotting, over een stel heroïne verslaafden die hun slag gaan slaan, proberen te stoppen, te ver gaan, goed en aangrijpend verhaal.
Requiem for a Dream, aangrijpend verhaal over meerdere mensen verslaafd aan verschillende dingen (vooral heroïne)

Dat zijn ze wel ongeveer die ik gezien heb.

Maar ongelooflijk hard neergaan als je ene smoort enzo :') Vooral de intro is giere!

Heb overlaatst 'Thirteen' gezien, tgaat niet alleen over drugs, maar tkomt er wel in voor.. vind het zelf een mooie film..
Persoonlijk vind ik Requiem for a Dream & Blow nog altijd de beste..

Normaal zou ik tegen lijken kunnen en zo. Maar dat ging er echt over. Had zelfs bang dat ik de baby zag kruipen op de grond bij mij thuis.

Dat was het engste moment dat ik ooit heb beleefd in men leven.

En toen heb iets anders opgezet. Durvde niet meer te kijken, omdat ik het gevoel had dat die 1ne gast na dat ongeluk met dat kind tijdens zijn trip die baby op de muur zou zien kruipen en zo.

kheb gisteren ook gekeken tot daar (had hem al 2 keer gezien)
tis echt zielig en grof, maar langs de ene kant vond ik het ook grappig, omdat het daar niet zo serieus overkomt hehe

als ie dan een shot klaarmaakt, denk je dat het voor de (ex-)moeder is maar hij spuit er eerst zelf één in

dat sollicitatiegesprek op de speed is ook zooo grappig

Blow - Leuk verhaal over een dealer, word qua drugs niet heel erg intresant zitten een paar leuke scenes tussen.
Traffic - best realisctisch neergezet. De War on drugs in de states.
Best cool dat de dochter van een drugs narcotica aan het chineze slaat.
Trainspotting - Zeer goeie film aanrader. veel heroine gebruik.
How High - niet echt serieus nemen ofzo..... wel veel wiet
Scarface - Schijnt de ultieme gangster film te zijn. "Say ello to my little friend" Wat drugs gebruik door tony zijn vrouw en door hem zelf.Verhaal is wel cool opzich

Thritheen Best mooie film over foute invloeden, niet veel drugs gebruik voornamelijk wiet.

Ik heb Thirteen overlaatst bekeken en er komt wel een paar keer drugs in voor ja.. lachgas en weed enz... best wel een mooie film..

Iemand London gezien? Goede film over coke. Bijna heel de film speelt zich af in een badkamer op een feest. Veel praten veel snuiven.

The 51st State; Beetje nep film over een drugs die 51x beter is dan andere drugs. Met Samuel Jackson.

De Dominee : Over Klaas Bruinsma en zijn hasj handel. Een goede Nederlandse film.

Pulp Fiction natuurlijk, goede film van Quintin Tarantino bij iedereen wel bekend denk ik. True Romance ook van hem gaat over coke.

Rave, is wel leuk om eens te zien. Over jongere die naar een rave party gaan en dan loopt het niet goed voor iedereen af.

Volgens mij is de de rest al genoemd. Zoals Trainspotting, traffic, scarface en blow.

heb a request for a dream (of zoiets) ook gezien, 2 x en ik weet niet ik vind die film zo zielig, echt te erg en dat muziekje er ook bij. Vooral die oude vrouwe, niet normaal maar het muziekje daar kreeg ik een rustig gevoel van dat maakte het voor mij weer goed.

maar heeft iemand fat pizza gezien, dat is echt een film, gaat helemaal nergens over dr gebeurt vanalles maar ja wat nou de bedoeling was van die film, geweldig gewoon.
en ff denken, Harold and coumar go to white castle is ook een fijne film om te kijken heb m redleijk vaak gezien maar blijft leuk.

en heb afgelope vrijdag op de mdma naar harry potter zitte kijke, was indrukwekkend....
