Abuse of camphor for its stimulant properties has been reported
(Koppel et al 1982). Vicks VapoRub and Vicks Sinex have reportedly
been used, by inhalation and skin application, by nightclubbers to
enhance the effects of MDMA (Rayner 1991). It has been used,
historically, to procure abortion (Vasey and Karayannopoulos 1972),
and the plant Lippia dulcis Trev., which contains camphor, may still
be used for this purpose in South America (Compadre et al 1986).

Vicks Vaporub is also commonly used to enhance the effects of MDMA(12). Vicks may be directly inhaled, rubbed above the upper lip, or applied to the inside of a surgical or painter's mask. The distinctive odor and sensations produced by the Vicks product are often amplified and exaggerated by MDMA abuse.

I was fortunate to have been brought in to 'the real world' by someone with a lot of experience, and I cannot imagine rolling without certain props. So for those of you who want a most enjoyable experience, here are some tips that I've acquired over the past seven months:


don't roll alone. you'll feel lonely and sad. the more people, the merrier.

if you know someone who can dance with glowsticks really good, be sure to have them with you

ALWAYS drink plenty of water [but not TOO much]

smoke a Newport menthol to boost your shit really good

have a vicks inhaler handy

vicks vaporub under the nose and eyes boosts your shit good too

get massages, they feel incredible

know someone who knows how to 'blow you up'

have great music. my top picks: Paul Oakenfold's 'tranceport', and DJ David Padilla 'the mix afterhours'. music is the drug, and you'll see what I mean.

don't eat a lot beforehand, don't drink alcohol, and don't smoke too much, or you may throw up

have warm clothes handy

Interessant vondst!!! IK was eens in Thailand, daar gebruiken ze echt veel neussticks; voelt inderdaad kort opwekkend. Het lijkt me dat dat komt dordat je even meer zuurstof kan opnemen (?)

Ik denk dat het meer te maken heeft met de menthol of de kamfer die erin zitten. Mijn eerste quote heeft het over kamfer, plus ze hebben alletwee een pijnstillende werking.

Menthol sigaretten heb ik ook eens geprobeert, omdat er geen vicks vaporub was , maar dat maakt geen hol uit volgens mij?

Die vaporub is veel sterker, en zal misschien wel helpen?
